My Summer To-Do List

I have exactly 72 days in summer, from the day after my last exam to the day before school starts again next year. This is my project. If you want to see how I’m doing, check out the “72 Things” list at the top of the page. 🙂
Remember: I don’t start on this list until the twenty-fourth!
- Speak only French for a whole day
- Start a walking routine
- Start a running routine
- Make a study guide for Conversational Japanese
- Make a study guide for Spanish 11
- Fill my inspiration board completely
- Complete room clean-up
- Clear things up with my writing partner
- Make a habit of journaling
- Learn how to clean the bathroom
- Have either a garage sale, or a bake sale, or both
- Learn one new muffin recipe
- Learn one new dessert recipe
- Learn one new meal recipe
- Read up on and try some odd vegetables
- Go clothes shopping
- Hang out with friends
- Get a new hairstyle
- Read all the books in my “unread” pile
- Read five new books
- Learn to play three new songs on the ocarina… by heart
- Paint a picture
- Think of something awesome to do for my birthday
- Make a list of 101 facts about me
- Make a list of my 30 most treasured simple pleasures
- Make a new friend
- Throw a spa party
- Do some Postcrossing
- Send in a postcard to PostSecret
- Spend a night sleeping in the hammock outside
- Read a book in French
- Spend a day in silence
- Take a photography day
- Visit Stanley Park
- Help dad organize the computer room
- Help dad organize his desk
- Grow an herb garden
- Write a multi-chap without losing focus
- Leave a letter for someone to find
- Media fast for at least three days
- Make Cascarones and throw them at people for fun
- Go to the zoo
- Make some environmental changes
- Meditate, starting for 15 minutes a day
- Subscribe to Last.fm for a month or two, and make full use of it!
- Make a list of my top ten favourite lemon-flavoured things
- Learn a new word every week
- Go fishing
- Find a favourite mug
- Complete setting up dad’s site
- Empty my entire jar of pennies
- Write a vignette using original characters
- Do a photo-a-day project for twenty days or more
- Keep my blood sugars below seven for an entire day
- Read the entire Naruto manga (every single volume, from the beginning to the most recent release)
- Take the skytrain to metro and back
- Spend a day people-watching
- Learn a simple recipe by heart
- Learn another piano song by ear
- Find ten blogs I really love reading
- Send a letter to a camp friend
- Deliver those souvenirs from Oregon to their respective recipients
- Go stargazing
- Take a walk at night
- Get myself a new lamp
- Buy some new notebooks
- Go to Daiso
- Try a food that really seems strange to me
- Spend a day doing nothing at all
- Go through notes online about how to write a great essay
- Buy organizers for my drawers
- Experiment with shampoos until I find five different kinds I really like
